Chicken Kiev Air Fryer Recipe
Equipment
- Air fryer
- Cooking spray
- Parchment paper
- Mixing bowls
- Baking sheet
- Cutting Board
- Blender
- Meat Mallet
Ingredients
- 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- 4 tablespoons spinach cooked
- 4 cooked parsleys fresh
- 8 tablespoons butter room temperature
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 cup panko or breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Cut the parsley into small pieces, add the lemon zest, and mix the softened butter into the bowl. Combine thoroughly.
- With caution not to cut through the whole chicken breast, cut a pocket in each one. Take two tablespoons of the garlic herb butter and stuff each pocket with it.
- Mix the breadcrumbs, pepper, and salt in a small plate. Combine thoroughly.
- In order to ensure that the breadcrumbs stick to the chicken, dip each filled chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture and press firmly.
- The air fryer should be preheated to 400°F (200°C). Put some frying spray in the air fryer basket.
- Stock the air fryer basket with a single layer of chicken breasts. Mist cooking spray over the tops.
- Cook until the breadcrumbs are crispy and golden brown, and the chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes.
- If preferred, slice and serve the hot Air Fryer Chicken Kiev.
Notes
- After air-frying, let the cooked Chicken Kiev cool to room temperature for around half an hour.
- Wrap the chicken kiev tightly in aluminum foil or plastic wrap, or store it in an airtight container.
- To maintain freshness, write the date on the container or wrap.
- You may keep the chicken kiev in the fridge for three to four days.

How to Cook Chicken Kiev without Leaking?
The most common complaint from customers is that the chicken breast leaks when it bakes due to the herb and garlic butter. I’ve tried a lot of different strategies to prevent this, but the one that I find most effective is to jam the chicken breast tender into the space where the herb and garlic butter meet.
