This recipe uses several ingredients but comes together easily in just two simple steps, and you don’t even need to turn on the oven. You can prepare it in advance and serve it cold (just donāt make it too far ahead to keep it fresh). It’s a hit with everyone at the party!
Cold Crab Dip pairs best with crackers, especially salty ones like saltines or butter crackers. It also goes well with veggies or chips, but crackers are my favorite for dipping into this one.
You can store this dip in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container. It’s best made at least an hour before serving, but since itās refrigerated, itās perfect to prepare the day before your party to save time on the day itself!

- 8 ounces Cream cheese at room temperature
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Sour cream
- 1 cup grated Pepper jack cheese
- 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese

- 1 Garlic clove minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Tabasco sauce or other hot sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly Ground pepper
- 1 pound Jumbo lump crab picked over for shells
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in the pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Gently fold in the crab meat and transfer the mixture to a small serving dish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Serve with crackers or crisp fresh vegetables for dipping.
