What Is A Lemon Sour In Japan?
In Japan, a Lemon Sour is a classic cocktail made with shochu, soda water, and lemon juice, a simple yet refreshing drink.
What Is The Difference Between Soju And Shochu?
Soju, a Korean distilled spirit, is typically sweeter and has a lower alcohol content. Shochu, a Japanese distilled beverage, can be made from various ingredients like barley, sweet potatoes, or rice, resulting in diverse flavors.
Can I Add Vodka To Lemon Sour Instead Of Soju?
Yes, you can definitely add vodka. Keep in mind that the ratio of vodka to lemon juice and simple syrup will still be important to get the balance of flavors right. A good starting point might be to use 1-2 parts vodka 1 part lemon juice and 1 part simple syrup.
