Is It Possible to Make This Salad in Advance?
You can make the salad ahead of time without the dressing and keep it in the fridge for 1-2 days. Just toss it with the dressing when you’re ready to serve. If you prefer, you can also chop the veggies and cook the chicken beforehand, and store them separately until you’re ready to mix everything.
How Long Can I Keep This in the Fridge?
To keep this salad fresh, store it in a tightly sealed container in the fridge. It’s best to add the dressing right before serving. It should stay good for a couple of days, but the texture might start to change after a day or so. Keep in mind that vinaigrette dressings can make pasta and veggies get soft over time.
What Should I Do If I don’t have a Certain Ingredient?
No need to worry if you’re missing an ingredient! Just see if you have something similar, or skip it if it’s not super important. Cooking is all about being flexible. You might find a good replacement in your kitchen.
Think about what the missing ingredient does in the recipe – like adding flavour or texture. Adjust things as needed to keep the dish tasting yummy. Just have fun and get creative in the kitchen!
