Turkey Sub Recipe: Quick and Satisfying Meal!

My Italian turkey subs are always a hit with everyone. I mean, who can resist a baked, crusty bread sandwich loaded with sharp cheddar cheese, mayo, smoked turkey, onion, and turkey pepperoni? Not me! I love a hearty, flavorful meal that’s quick and easy, especially after a hot summer day.

Today, I’ll show you how to make this ooey-gooey, extra cheesy baked Italian turkey sub. It’s perfect on its own or with a side of pizza sauce for dipping.

These Italian turkey subs are super simple to make. Just mix the sharp cheddar cheese with mayo and spread it on some crusty French bread. Then, layer on smoked turkey slices, turkey pepperoni, and onion. Wrap it all in foil and bake in the oven until it’s toasty and delicious. With only six ingredients and 30 minutes, dinner is ready! This recipe is also great for using up Thanksgiving leftovers if you have turkey in the fridge.

While this Turkey Sub Sandwich is a balanced meal on its own, adding a healthy treat like banana chips or a simple fruit salad makes it even better. And for the kids, homemade Doritos are always a favorite!
