1. Set the oven to 400°F. For easier cleanup, line a baking sheet with a rim and cover it with foil or parchment paper. 2. Rinse and scrub the potatoes well, then blot dry with a towel and pierce all over with a fork to create holes.
3. Once the potatoes can be easily punctured with a knife or fork, arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Bake for 45 minutes. 4. After five minutes of cooling, cut open and top with your preferred toppings, butter, and chives.
